A 12bt OWC from WineOwners in March 2020.
Decanted 0815-0830 on morning of the tasting. In decanter for approximately seven hours before going back into the bottle.
Capsule pretty good and hiding some old (?) seepage. Cork a bit loose but otherwise all good.

A 12bt OWC from C&B Broking in March 2023. OWC was brand new and bottles looked freshly labelled, so assumed to be a late release of stock from somewhere. Capsule and cork original and in OK condition. Decanted 0815-0830 on morning of the tasting. In decanter for approximately seven hours before...

One of several bottles from the C&B broking list in 2020.
Appears to be in good condition. Has Wine Society mention at bottom of label.
Capsule and cork pretty good.

The rules could be made more fun. People may opt to “hold firm”. To bump from the list somebody who has so opted, it must for a bottle ≥10 years older than the current youngest missing vintage. If a bottle not that old were offered, it would be the next in line who is compared to that newly offered...

At +48 hours remembered there was still a glass left in the decanter.
Hadn’t opened up any further and the bitterness was more evident.
Should probably have finished it last night.
Have 23 more, so plenty of opportunities for tasting.
