Great idea. If some jazz could be added, bliss would be complete.

Just been surfing to find somewhere in London with live jazz and something approaching a private dining area, with potential to allow corkage and thus port to be consumed. Have drawn a blank.

I could be persuaded to join you for Port, cigars and all that jazz.

I always seem to be rather drunk by the time I start smoking cigars and I remain unconvinced about the advisability of port and cigars. Brandy seems more like it to me at such times. But the idea of smoking inside is a terrific draw. It feels naughty.

There would be nothing wrong with going to J. J. Fox's to drink some nice Vintage Port, a Taylor 1985 perhaps, and then having a cigar with a fine brandy, and all that jazz.

They are open until 9:30 on Thursdays, so perhaps a Thursday. If we invite the chief Cigaromelier to join us later might be possible? Or we could just leave at 9:30 and go for beer, and all that jazz?

Port & cigars are not an ideal match IMO. Cigars work better with Madeira or Champagne.

Agreed. The two would not be enjoyed side by side.

Cigars and whisky work well. Cigars and beer, a 4%ish bitter, work even better.
I have cigars. Please may I join the event?

Sorry I didn't see this before - did you try Boisedale near Paddington for this?
