Drunk at the Haag winery with Oliver Haag on 12th August 2014.
One of the Haag 'Grosse Lage' or Grand Cru wines, as per the VDP's 'quality pyramid'.This has a classy nose, some wet stone, melon, nice gooseberry sourness. A great mouth! The acidity is lovely and rounded, mouthwatering and zingy, very lively, with what I understand is described as a 'filigree' feel.
