What a funny forum. The resemblance to FTLOP cannot be accidental. I found this whilst Googling for a tasting note. Looks pretty good so far. My fondness for port and madeira needs an outlet like this.

Hi John,
welcome aboard. And your quite right, this was a sort of break away from FTLOP. Thats still a very good Forum, as your aware, but this is a bit more irreverent and we cater for the tired & emotional Port drinker as well! So with your username, you've gotta fit in!
Hope you stick around and add your two cents worth, and we all learn a little more about the Purple stuff.

Welcome to TPF, John
I have a feeling we need an Offline somewhere within the area bounded by St Helens, Botlon, Chesterfield and Coventy in the very near future
Southern Jessie's - pack a bag with warm clothes and some medication - the TPF bandwagon is heading north once more

John: welcome. You’re an unusual beast on this forum. Twelve posts, and not a single misplaced or missing apostrophe. A punctuation pedant among the careless. Greetings indeed.
