At a Wine Society tasting in Belfast, 18th June 2013.
This was a startlingly good sherry. Extremely nutty - almonds and hazelnuts predominate, with just the right balance of smoothness and sharp saltiness, and then a long, long finish - with the most unexpected tang of burned Swan Vestas right at the end. Subsequently this transmuted into other smoky / bonfire notes. Really rather good.
