T45, though served blind as both ‟Cherish Port Left” and as ‟#3”.

Mature red, slightly brown at edge, 50% opaque. Nose had good fruit, being dark red cherry, and some heat. Taste starts big and unctuous. Heat mid-palate, then redness, slightly acidic, Very long. Quite lovely. Fully mature. Mid+ weight.

I thought it was younger that it was: ’67? Mz67? Nil points.

Deep brick red; warm, mature and attractive - 50% opaque. Slightly spicy on the nose, with lots of nutmeg, a little alcohol and concentrated cherry. Rich texture, flavoursome and mouthfilling; grows to be a very big wine on the palate with a lovely glycerol texture. A huge aftertaste and tremendous length. This is a massive and fabulous wine. 96/100. Drunk 15-Feb-13. Decanted 2½ hours.
