I personally have only 1 out of 6 bottles of dow 77 that I've tried that was good. The rest have this ... "funk"/ "VA" / "weirdness" to it

A port omelette? Eek.
Well, the sun is out here on the hill and Manhattan looks great. See you as the sun sets.

me thinks you need to open your horizons to different food and port pairings.Zelandakh wrote:A port omelette? Eek.

Excited for tonight, chaps!
A few notes, however:
1.) My lone Warre 86 LBV seems to have gone AWOL. I will dig around a bit more for it (part of the trouble is that my wine coolers currently hold 2-3X the volume they were intended for, so that pulling out bottles (heck -- even opening the door) can get messy). Fear not, I will bring along a more exotic bottle (blind) should I be unable to locate it.
2.) My loving GF terry fears it may be another late night at the office, so she may show up a little bit after the official start time (she can, I am confident, catch up)
That is all for now. See you guys soon!

Also -- would anybody else prefer to try the 77s single-blind? Might spice things up a bit.
