Sun 4th - Sat 10th December
I have to be in Columbus, Ohio for some of the days of w/c Monday 5th December. I can't fly direct from the UK to Columbus so have to fly either via Chicago or New York. I'd love to break my journey and meet up with folks for an offline.
Anyone around that week? My journey details are just being planned now, so any preference as to how, when and where I transit? Most likely will be that I will be flying from Columbus to NY on Thursday night (Dec 8th), stay the night in Manhattan and then fly from NY back to London on Friday or Saturday.

Do you need someone to carry your bottles of Port?

If you came through NY, there would be a tasting along your journey.

Any theme you'd like Alex?
I have some funky bottles to have an odd bottle tasting.
also have the vesuvios.

Vesuvio would be nice - we could do an eVen Vintage Vertical of Vesuvios.
Oddities would also be good.
We could try an "Unknown Shipper" theme for bottles that have lost their identity - similar theme to the UK Xmas offline.
I'm open to discussion and debate.

Worryingly, my boss is now talking about delaying the meeting in Columbus until 2012. Perhaps my excitement at returning to NY was a little premature
