Went to the wines of Portugal tasting yesterday. In addition to a great many table wines (and an opportunity for me to try Franca, Nacional, etc standalone), i tried all the ports I could find. There wasn't time for a lot of detailed notes, but i hope these are useful.

Sounds like a fun tasting. The Gaivosa and Caldas (which Google tells me are produced by Alves de Sousa) are ones I haven’t heard of before; so it’s interesting to see notes on them.
