NV Viera de Sousa White 10YO, bottled November 2023 in 50cl. €16 for a 100ml pour at Canalha in Lisbon. Deep orange in colour. Baked apricots on the nose. Flavours of honeyed fruit flow onto the palate bringing depth and an impression of good age. Despite the impression of honey, the wine is actually quite dry in the palate with a lovely depth of fruit. The fruit explodes into life on the aftertaste as dried apricot and Seville Orange marmalade. Stunning length. What a wonderful choice of wine to accompany a red mullet main course. 92/00.
