25% opacity, tobacco amber. Nose is bursting with treacle. Soft and syrupy, oranges and treacle, lovely balance, elegant. On colour alone, this bottle was out of pattern with the ports younger and older than it. Very enjoyable, but different to what I would think a '66 would be like.

Note to self: conversation around the table suggests that Cr66 can be quite variable.

Rim turning to orange. A pronounced licorice nose. This is delicious. Pronounced pontefract cake on finish. Really pleasurable wine and got a point from me.
