Bottled by Croft in the UK. Mature copper-red colour, 40% opaque. Rich, spiced, dried berry fruit on the nose, smelling like a really nice mature Port. Lighter on the palate than expected from the nose, a little bitterness appearing in the fruit. Jellied fruit, with a nice warmth, just a touch light.
89/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

35% opacity, mature red, amber rim. Soft and chewy, oranges and peppermint. Much more mature, soft and sweet than the other ports on show - more like a Cr63 than what I would expect for a Cr66.

Browning with orange rim. Prunes and dust on the nose. Lovely mouthfeel. Pruney fruit. Really pleasant drinking but feels elderly in this company.
