2012 Graham Malvedos

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

In new, fully recyclable cardboard packaging. Cherry red colour with a medium rim. Red cherries on the nose and on the palate. Nicely structured with some fine grained ripe tannins hiding in the fruit. A gentle chew on the aftertaste and modest black-chew sticky finish. Medium bodied, early drinking SQVP.  88/100. Tasted 21-Feb-23. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
