Silver and Crystal Claret Jug offer

Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

Silver and Crystal Claret Jug offer

Post by KillerB »

Got my copy of "Decanter" magazine yesterday and out dropped an offer for a very swish looking Claret Jug. "Nice," I thought. Six free Burgundy glasses as well - strange for a Claret Jug off but nonetheless welcome. No price but a website, so I took a look.

Couldn't see the jug on the front page but eventually used the search facility and the price was £700. That's the end of that then.

My most expensive decanter was also a Claret Jug but was about one-twentieth of the price.

Treacle saw the flyer and asked if we were getting it as it's pretty. She changed her mind when I told her the price.
