Dusty red brick and perhaps 80% opacity. The nose is quite fruity, blueberries and a few plums. In the mouth it's relatively smooth, with a slight acidic kick at the end. On the palate, cassis is prominent with citrus after notes. It's at a slightly weird stage where the fruit isn't shining like the nose would suggest. Lingers in the mouth for a more than agreeable amount of time.
Was supposed to be 2013 Noval LBV but the merchant made a mistake. Definitely my gain. In 5/10 years this will be a very strong Port for a modest price. 15.5/20.
