1995 Fonseca Guimaraens (half)
Decanted 2 hours. 45% opacity, warm red. Nose a little raisin-ed and tobacco, with strawberries behind that. Smooth entry, gentle heat all along the palate, red fruit. A little dry and a little bit of bitterness towards the finish. A mite dumb perhaps - not as lively and fresh as it might be. Likely some continued development in the bottle, but drinkable now also.
