There was a rather interesting article in our local paper regarding the ownership problems that Liverpool is having .
I show interest in this situation , because George Gillette (co-owner ) is also owner of my Montréal Canadiens .
There was an uproar in Montréal when he acquired the Habs .
How can sell this most beloved sports franchise to a Yank !
I assume a similar uproar happened over there .
But the real culprit is the other co-owner , Tom Hicks .
Gillette lets the hockey people run the club and just signs the paychecks (as It should be ) .
Hicks should do the same . Instead of shooting his mouth off to reporters . . .
