Those who are bringing bottles, please could you decant them before arrival. It is likely that we will only be able to get into the red room quite close to our planned start time so I will be relying on people bringing decanted bottles and pouring small measures for themselves as we circulate the bottles round the table.

I plan to decant the D85 on Wednesday around 24 hours in advance.

A quick reminder to Tom, Phil, Alex, Simon, Ian and Charles - can you remember to bring the 1966s to the B&F on Thursday so that they can rest in advance of the 66 horizontal next month. Check here if you have forgotten what you are bringing. Thanks.

Any thoughts on when I should decant the G85?

Immediately after decanting please post the time at which done, and any other observations, in the appropriate tasting-note thread (D60, G60, D63, G63, D70, G70, D80, G80, D83, G83, D85, G85).

I note that The Queen is 90 on Thursday.

Any preference on when the G70 is decanted? It has been standing up in the cellar since last week.

Where possible and practical, could bottles be decanted on Thursday morning please. Where not practical, as late on Wednesday as works would be preferred to decanting just before we drink.
