London tasters

Post by jdaw1 »

The group New York tasters has existed for a long time — indeed, since I created it when living in New York. Somewhat belatedly, there is now a London tasters group, to which PMs can be sent, notifying folks of newly-posted tastings in and near London.

As created this list has members: jdaw1, uncle tom, DRT, AHB, Axel P, Cookie, Christopher, benread, WS1, Alex M, Chris Doty, PhilW, idj123, djewesbury, CPR 1, flash_uk, DaveRL, forest26, Apples1981, and Doggett. Doubtless others should be added: say who, and I will cope.

No. Brits generally pay attention to their drinking arrangements — no PMs needed.
I have changed my mind.

Perhaps add CMAG?

In the past I have been unable to send a PM to New York Tasters. Investigation discovered that only admins may do so.

Has this been corrected, presumably for both New York Tasters and London Tasters?

There is a check beside “Group able to receive private messages”. So hopefully.

I strongly suspect that this was the cause of the problem...

Now set to "Yes" and ready to be tested

Sending to group by non-admin seems to work fine, pending confirmation of receipt.

edit: receipt also confirmed, seems to be working.

Good news.

I also increased the maximum number of members to which members can send a single PM from five to twenty. That should be a limit that is never a problem.

Hello Mrs Cheese.

You and your hubby are, and have been for ages.
