In the window that opens when you hit 'Reply' in the message thread, under the blank message box you'll see a button that says 'Upload attachment'. Hit this and then a box that says 'Filename' opens, hit 'Choose File' and the normal directory search will open. Choose the file and then hit 'Add the file'.
Then you have to hit one more button, below the filename when it appears underneath your message - hit 'Place inline' and it will add the picture to your message.
Another way to do it is to upload the images to a server on the web and then use the Img button at the top of the message window - you just put the URL of your photo between the two IMG tags - like this:The easiest way of all is to use the Tapatalk app on a phone or tablet, providing that the photo is on the device already...Code: Select all

Advice on uploading photos in Selling Port
Can I propose an addition to the Standard Advice / a new sticky in Selling Port, along these lines - it would save us all time and make it much easier for new users to navigate the site..

But I've heard from a likely poster that he has no 'upload attachment' button. Why would this be?

When first registered the member is placed in a special group that requires an Admin to approve their first post. Once approved the member becomes part of the normal user group. It is likely that the special new member group will have limited facilities. Let me check.djewesbury wrote:But I've heard from a likely poster that he has no 'upload attachment' button. No. I have updated the permissions of newly registered users to allow attachments to be created. It should now work.

Re: Advice on uploading photos in Selling Port
May I move the photo-advice post so that it becomes the second post of Selling Port? Port for sale? Excellent. Start here.?

Hold on - I don't see stickies in Tapatalk. Is that a problem?

In which case the proposed move would be neither better nor worse.djewesbury wrote:Hold on - I don't see stickies in Tapatalk. Is that a problem?
