Post by Chris Doty »

FYI - as seen on the UK Drinks Forum

Are you free on 22nd April for a dinner and tasting of Dirk Niepoort wines at Quo Vadis?

We have 18 spaces for general public - myself and Dirk will make 20. It'll be a fantastic dinner. If you and or friends are available and in town do consider coming, please let me know asap for tickets> service@winebear.com

It will be £100 for 3 course meal with following wines and Dirk Niepoort will be in attendance. All the pre-dinner wines will be available to purchase and the aim is to showcase older versions of those predinner wines at the dinner to give an insight to the wines potential development.

A lot of confusion around Dirk's BFT week diary. But two dinners a day is an admirable aspiration for a man to have.

Hi guys - I presume Dirk is committed to my tasting as it is an official trade dinner organised via his UK importer Raymond Reynolds.

I'll check on Monday but sorry if this 86s your 66 ...

Unless you guys fancy doing the 66 alongside my tasting and attending the dinner?

No worries - I think it has been known for a while that he has been committed elsewhere on this night. The quo vadis dinner looks like a great line-up - hopefully you will have a great night!
