Nice twist, something that you might have done before but aren't sure. I was thinking (a slow event)

One could do this same thing to un-fortified wine, but, as with the Port, if I have done it before, it has been very rare.

It could be argued that the problem was that something was mixed with the Port, but that might mislead.
