Too big and smelly I understand, but more seems to be needed.
Are you finding Julian's obsessive compulsive vivalve - oops, I mean bivalve - proclivities starting to wear thin?

It smelled of Royal Oporto.

Nurse! He's out of bed again.

Oh and what about it's age, does that come into it?

Was the smelly old big one not as pert and neat as he likes his bivalves?

Now you're teasing.

Do I have to guess the exact age at which they become too old for Julian?

Ten years?

Yes! That's it! The one thing that was different was its age. Julian wanted just one more, and the oyster man wanted to impress us. So he pulled out this HUGE oyster and proceeded to tell us about its age (it was 15 years) and that the larger they are, the older, and also more sour. Yes, Julian likes his bivalves pert and neat.

But we have an answer. :(
Finally we have a comprehensive description of the numerical properties of the square. A little too slow off the mark this time Glenn.
only just seen this. Not quite comprehensive though; diagonals too (previously mentioned by jdaw) and also opposite outer mid-pairs as well as corners. Four of these cases could be generalised to "the sum of all four values in any single selected position while rotating the board 90 degrees each time".

I think you mean me. Lovely question. I may have to go and lie down to think of the next one. And my name is Owen, but call me Mr Somerset if it pleases you.

Owen Somerset, I think we both got that answer. It was, as they say, a little bit you, a little bit me.
Meanwhile Phil has got an answer to yesterday's quiz handy!
