Open House Chez KillerB 18 Dec 2010

Post by KillerB »

It's not a Port do but I am holding an open house party at my house in Coventry on 18h December. If anybody would like to come along then you will be most welcome. There will be food, some of it made by me, some by others. There is also a ton of homemade beer - lager, bitter, porter and stout - made mostly by me but one of the bitters and the porter by my friend Scott. If you've never had home-made beer then you may have some worries but this is all of the best quality. Masses of wine available too, I didn't make that, clever people did.

As the night wears on, I may open a bottle or two of Port but that will not be the main thing for most people there.

Let me know by PM, just for numbers, if you fancy braving the Midlands in December. Every member is welcome.

Can I please make a provisional booking for a place to sleep on your kitchen floor?

I have no idea at this point where I will be on 18th December but if it turns out that I don't need to be anywhere else I might send myself to Coventry :D

Sadly, I don't think I'll be there. Pity; haven't seen you for ages.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Alex, ia masbus yashellatt he moment and what'sw orseisthat my keyboard isac ting upwit hthe spa cesbe ingi nthewr ong pl aces.

That previous sentence was genuinely the way that it was written. This one is far more laboured. I am very busy, too busy to think. The stupid thing is that I am working very close to you, at Winnersh, but almost all my evenings are taken up as well. I'm organising this party next week and then off for Christmas. New Year, I'll be back again and we'll see about a tasting then,

Cheers,

Alex
