Another one from the legendary RAF club 70 tasting

Post by DrDirk »

Hello to everyone!

Finally I found this page. I am just another port lover who met some of you already :D on the 1970 port tasting last january in the RAF club in London.
I just like Blue Stilton a lot and Blue Stilton without Port is something that does not work. Therefore I started drinking and buying some bottles of port, mostly VP but also some single quinta ports.

I do not know if there is anyone around southwest Germany for some offlines? But perhaps there is the possiblity when I will be in London visiting another great portlover that I can join one of the offlines in London. In case you want another strange talking port lover around.

So hopefully I can share with you some nice drinking experiments.

Dirk,

You very welcome to The Port Forum! While nowhere near south-west Germany, I can promise you that you are most welcome to be a part of one of our London tastings when you next travel to London - and if there isn't an offline planned when you visit, we can soon fix that!

Hi Dirk, welcome!

Although he doesn't visit here often, SimonSaysDrink lives in your area. I'm sure he's always interested in a glass or two. :)

Hello Dirk and welcome to the Port Forum.

If you went to the 1970 tasting then you have tasted some very fine Ports. You're also a Stilton lover and that makes you my kinda guy already.

Enjoy yourself here,

Alex - KillerB/Admin

Hallo Dirk,

herzlich willkommen!

Michael
