Links to posts

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

I seem to have lost my ability to include links to specific posts within threads in my emails. I was successfully using the syntax:

url=viewtopic.php?p=12650#12650

but this now seems to route to the first post of the thread, like this. Is there a different syntax that I should be using these days?

Thanks.

Alex

phpBB 3, being very compliant with HTML and CSS standard, uses
url=viewtopic.php?p=12650#p12650

Do I sense another "virtual head wetting" in the offing? Will start to contemplate what I would toast a minor "W" with!

For reasons not yet explained to the missus a bottle of Warre 1963 is standing, awaiting a real head-wetting here, which you will virtually be invited to join.

I am somehwat short* of 1963. I do however have a 1986 Smith Woodhouse Colheita, purchased in the USA in 2009. Perhaps I will put that in the firing line. Just in case...

The best W I can manage is a 1985 Warre's half bottle, recently purchased. It now awaits the proper time.
