I'm delighted you took up the invitation to register on the forum and look forward to your thoughts and points of view on the topics which crop up from time to time. Particularly, if you drink any port then we would encourage you to post a tasting note - even if only as brief as "I liked this and would buy it again at £X per bottle". It's always interesting to read the views of others when considering buying a particular port.

Can I ask how you managed to meet Alex and Tom? Were they behaving themselves or were they beeing thrown out of a fine establishment in Newbury after drinking too much port?
