Several separate unconfirmed sources tell me that the President of the IVDP has resigned at some point within the past few days. I do not know the reason or implications at this time but if I hear any more I will let you know.

The ministry of agriculture, according to this link, has appointed Luciano Vilhena Pereira as the new President, and Paulo Meneses Osório as the ‟vice-presidente”.
