Ah Ha moment

Post by g-man »

On this past rainy saturday afternoon, my wife and I were about having pictures taken in central park.

There is a lovely section of the park called the conservatory with ivy vines entwined amongst a pavilion.

The rain, the dewey greeness, the wet woody ivy vegetation, a light cool breeze enveloped me with a familiar sensation, striking my nasal senses and connecting with the neurons in my brain.

AH HA, that is the classic DOW nose.

Dow 77 has often been said to have a vegetal nose. Never saw it myself, but now we have proof!
It may be drivel, but it's not meaningless.

I thought that this thread would be discussing the relative merits of "Take On Me" and "The Sun Always Shines On TV". I don't know whether to be relieved or disappointed.

I've noticed it before - it reminds me of chile relleno.

Vegetal - No likey...

Is that due to tartaric acid or lack of residual sugar? Vegetal notes are something I think detracts from port (and cigars).
