Pale but beautiful light red. Nose a bit dumb. Red fruit, power and smoothness. Lovely middleweight port. Almost everyone liked this.

Rich brick red in colour, 50% opaque. Little given away on the nose, which is surprisingly empty with just a ghost of redcurrant cordial crawling out of the glass. The texture on the palate is lovely, smooth and full of ripe strawberries in light syrup - fresh despite the syrup. The fruit dominates this wine, which is one of the more youthful at this tasting, and holds long into the lovely red fruit finish. 92/100. Decanted 10½ hours.
