Bottled by Harvey of Bristol. Deep rose red in colour, 50% opaque. Limited on the nose, a little nicely perfumed fruit. Lovely grip on the palate, wrapped in rose perfume and with a big bramble and black cherry layer over the top. Warm aftertaste, showing a brief fierce heat, but displaying a whole range of red liquorice, cranberry and currant fruit. Impressive and still youthful. 92/100. Tasted 13-Jun-23.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
