Dark brick red colour. Restrained nose showing mature but slightly dirty fruit. Really interesting texture with considerable tannins gripping firmly in a rich red fruit palate. Cranberry and juniper aftertaste, fading to a very long and persistent cedar. Really very good! 94/100. Decanted 30 minutes.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
