Adriano Porto White Reserva
This is currently the only white Port which Ramos Pinto release on to the UK market although they are developing a wider range. This wine has an average age of about 7 years and includes a small amount of the 1965 white colheita in the company's cellars. Around 10-12,000 bottles per year are filled and sold. Deep orange in colour, 30% opaque. Served cold the nose was quite subdued, a little butterscotch and Sweet William perfume. Balanced entry, sweet with butterscotch and honey. Mango aftertaste fills the mouth. Very pleasant. 86/100. Decanted 1 hour. Tasted 25-Nov-2011.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
