Argentinian - Mendoza. Not known for great Merlot.
Medium bodied, old nose for a 2005, herby. Nice mouthfeel with sour cherries and basil at the back. Not great Merlot but not bad either.
Bought from Laithwaites in a cheap mixed case, probably about a fiver and worth not much more. S'OK.
