Full deep rich red, barely paling at the rim.
Quite subdued nose, mainly of mint.
In the mouth, voluptuous, no other word quite captures the big velvety pillows of lush red fruit. Full, then a flash of cointreau towards the finish, then mulled orange in red wine stuffed with cloves, then a long plush red fruit finish, the oral personification of a red Victorian Velvet banquette; but holding together rather better than that would be by now.
I'm afraid it's terribly attractive.

Pretty, floral, nose - almost like a scent rather than a wine. More 'breed' than yesterday, the fruit more cranberry and with a beautifully- toned orange note to the fruit. Still velvety, if not quite so billowingly lush. Hints of chocolate and pepper late.
