Conky's Virgin Nightmare!

Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

Conky's Virgin Nightmare!

Post by DRT »

It's not as bad as it might have appeared from the title, but I have to report that Conky is having some teething troubles with a new Virgin installation that means he will be absent from TPF until Tuesday.

Hopefully he will be back next week when his Virgin is fully functional.

I'm back!!!

Just a loose wire apparently. (Thats not me who has a loose wire). Anyway, up and running on 20meg. And to be fair, not a blind bit of difference in finding pages. It does download and stream rather impressively though.

Another shame was I had a G75, a Morgans 91 and some Quinta de 'something or other' 2003 LBV (That laughably cost a friend £45 in Selfridges. Ouch!) on Good Friday, with friends. I'd have posted something the day after, if I could have, but it's been lost in the sands of time.

Other than,

G75. Silky, light, subtle, never an alcohol issue, quite nice. 89pts
M91, Usual substantial fruity taste, dark, no messing, not as complicated, very nice, great after 4hrs, 87pts.
Quinta De '??' 2003 LBV. Slightly chemical, massive Tannins, struggled for fruit, not very nice, dry, dry throat. Maybe Dows 2001 has a rival? 75pts.
