Simon - can you fit another socially distanced person in the room with you when we get back from dinner (assuming I have permission to join you)? I'll bring a bottle to share...
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Of course... you can even join my bubble if you wish. Tony will be testing the same set up shortly.

Please can I be added to this? I might save the rest of the Quevedo 1970 white port for the occasion...

What are we all planning to have for this?

Just pulled a bottle of Roeda 2002 from the cellar. Will decant tomorrow morning.

Niepoort Secundum 2000

Update: decanted 1030 on 4 August. Cork exploded. Wine fine I think.

Won't be attending but I will be drinking the exact same tomorrow with the family. I'll try post notes at a similar time.

It looks like an Offley 1972 and a slightly off piste choice of a Cavendish 1963 will be tasted here at the Heritage tomorrow evening. Will look forward to having AHB as the zoom co-pilot.

Decanted at 1500 - so should get 4 hours air before properly tasting. Quick sample was quite tasty.

Cork good, but loads of heavy sediment.
