Noval 70, Churton’s UK bottled. Decanted at 1215. Had a small sample (strictly for quality assurance purposes) and can report that all is well.

This was a fun evening; once again many thanks to flash_uk for arranging it. SCD and I called it a night shortly before 12, having by then put the entire world to rights.

Fun indeed... if only the world had been awake to listen to the instructions! Thanks again to Mike for arranging and everyone for wonderful company. These virtual tastings have been wonderful relief to the madness of the last few months.winesecretary wrote: ↑14:22 Thu 04 Jun 2020 This was a fun evening; once again many thanks to flash_uk for arranging it. During the chat, someone (Simon I think) mentioned a recent purchase of the Lustau East India Solera.
Just spotted it’s available on Amazon for £24.38 for a case of three 75cl bottles.
Think this is much better than normal retail pricing which is usually the 50cl.

I had bought one from Waitrose in Bridport for £10.99 for a 50cl bottle that day. It was a very lovely cream sherry and was already great value at the price I paid and definitely worth indulging with the offer Neil has posted about.
