There are cherry blossoms lining the street, but none in my back garden. Nor any apple blossom.

I do have a Magnolia in the garden and it had a huge blossom about a month ago. But this was not one of the bushes I was referring to. And not Azalea either.

Another clue - one of these bushes needs ericaceous soil.

I probably was jumping the queue here, but anyway. Nobody has so far objected.
Presently I am enjoying a very nice small whisky, which?

Not Longrow, it was a Springbank (ie distilled 2,5 times).

A very simple question - and actually one I will have to research the answer for.

What is the vintage of the oldest bottle of unfortified wine I currently have in my wine collection?
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

1892 is the nearest guess so far, but is not correct.
