Olive Oil from Quinta do Noval

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Strictly speaking this thread is in the wrong part of the Forum, but I wanted as many people to see it as possible because of the short timescale I need to respond in. I have to reply by close of business on Thursday.

I have arranged with Quinta do Noval to import a parcel of up to 120 bottles of this season's olive oil. The only question now is how many bottles to import. I have up to 108 available for other people (I am taking at least 12) and would be delighted to share the remainder around.

The cost is £50 for a pack of 6x50cl or £8.50 per individual bottle. I've been told these should arrive in the UK at the end of November so should be available to give as Christmas presents!

If I have these all delivered to one location then we can split the £15 delivery charge between us and I can hand deliver bottles to people in due course. Or you can have your bottles delivered directly to you and pay an additional £15.

If anyone would like a bottle then please let me know by posting here as soon as you can.

Many thanks,

Alex

With emails, PMs and DRT's request, that's 40 bottles out of a maximum of 120 requested so far.

Another 8 bottles means that we get free delivery, if delivered as a single consignment.

If there are no more orders I will happily take another two to hit the 48 bottle threshold.

Almost a month later than scheduled, but the oil has finally been delivered.

I will be driving into London on Tuesday and can bring oil with me. Will anyone be in London on Tuesday and able to take delivery of their order?

Yes please — please email time to my missus. Time dependent, delivery might be near but not at home.

PM me with her email address please. I know I have it somewhere, but where defeats me.

A very swish bottle complete with pourer. Quite fruity, lovely green salad flavour, good length and sweet finish. Very tasty. Thank you AHB for organising.
