Other Wines Tasting Notes

There is an area of the forum dedicated to "Other Wines". This area contains a number of discussion threads and an ever increasing number of TNs.

Would it be helpful to split this into two sections, one for discussion and the other for TNs (possibly with a proper index)?

Yes. Thank you for volunteering. Good luck indexing wines from all over the world.

I am making the assumption that the general lack of enthusiasm for this thread is indicative of a lack of enthusiasm for the idea.

The status quo will be maintained unless consensus dictates that it should not.

I was slightly anti, but without powerful enthusiasm on either side.

Yes, there are lots of things muddled in that section. But also, let’s not get too far from our core purpose.

There is a search on this part of the forum which seems to work fine for looking up wines and seeing if there is a reference to them. Looked like a lot of work for not a huge advantage.

Fair and fair. I'm not complaining, I was just sticking my elbow in the bath.

I have friend who collects these*, I shall pass it on.

* eg: run it up the flagpole and see who salutes it, put it in the toaster and see what pops up, etc.
