This might not help, but I think Alex is looking more and more like Doug McClure, who was always on a Journey to the Centre of the Earth in the 70's!
Those one's where they would fight Dinosaurs, find Jewels, and meet rabid natives, who always wore make-up. The Props in them were always borrowed from Dr Who.
So he could be very busy with that sort of thing???

I'm not sure that Edinburgh should be described like that. I've also had a haircut so the Doug McClure impression has gone down the pan.
