Post by DRT »

You can't see it but I am now doing a very attractive dance to celebrate our 1000th post in less than 7 full days - the ladies should start arriving any time now

Ok, so even some of the stuff not posted in 'Meaningless Drivel' should have been. However, this is good as it means that we are happily active.

Thanks to all - long may it continue

Although this is a more irreverant site than many others and we have a giggle over here, it should be noted that in 1000 posts:

160 Port Tasting Note threads

This shows that we are serious when it comes to the basis of what we are about. The TNs will be our greatest asset in the future whilst our good humour will make us individual.

Now all that counts is what will be the 1000 post Port level.

We're on track for over 2000 Posts in a month. Now although half of that was the flurry of excitement in the first week. Thats still remarkable.
I'm also impressed with the balance. Mostly Port related, but other things as well.

According to my reckoning out of these projected 2000 Posts, we've had at least SEVEN informative ones, and TWO funny ones! Well Done!

That is a demanding task , but I firmly believe , that based on previous attempts , Alan will not , dare I say , must not let the site down for fear of a serious dowgrade into oblivion
