Where the B***** H*** is everyone?

Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

The past couple of days seem to have been very quiet - have you all given up drinking port? :?

I'm lurking :)

I've drink a few things recently, but not posted any tasting notes anywhere. But yes the next couple of weeks will be quiet for me.

With work kicking my arse (the 21 hr shifts) and the holidays this week, I've not had much time, nor drank much stuff since a week ago last monday...although I did have a pint of some local hooch last night. Maybe tonight I'll open that Graham's 10 yr tawny....if I got time.

Apparently our beloved Corky has a broken PC which has prevented him from posting for a few days now.

He hopes to be able to stop watching Sky Sports soon so that he can get off the couch and go to PC World to have it fixed and join in the fun once again

Yes. Never touch a drop. Don't know where you got the idea that I might drink the stuff. What is it again?

Now at Hong Kong airport and relieved to be heading home to take care of the cellar properly once again.

It's just one of those times of year. As Christmas comes up everybody gets busy and then they drink Port.

Catching up...

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

I've just realised that if I post 3 more times then I will have moved up to 5th place in the membership posting league.

3 more tasting notes about to hit the TN forum.

But why is it so quiet here? So much tumbleweed!

I think it is quiet for 6 reasons:
  • You have been away for a couple of weeks
  • Uncle Tom has been doing firework things and is now away walking in the hills
  • Conky's PC is bust
  • KillerB seems to be doing undercover work for MI5
  • I have been neglegent and have not kept up my posting average
  • the lack of posting, especially by Conky, has reduced the opportunity for Jdaw1 to post Apostrophe Crimes

And I’m trying to organise a tasting with the silent majority: five consecutive posts from this one were by me. Brick-wall-tastic.

That's a relief. I was afraid that I might have frightened people away by posting some deep and meaningful thoughts for a change.

I'll go and refill my glass again - normal service will be resumed shortly.

Thank you - to end what has been a depressing day (I am still at work) with a laugh was well worth while.

Good night, God bless, see you all on Thursday night.

It has been a long time since we needed this thread but I think now seems like a good time to revive it

I am here, but have very little to contribute at the moment because I'm hardly drinking any port at the moment, nor am I buying much... I can assist you in setting up a time tunnel if you feel lonely.

I'm still chugging Gatorade trying to get my electrolytes back in balance from this weekend's run!

However, I sense the need for a G85 soon.

What you need is a port drinking buddy. Now where can you find one of those?

I think if you can find a guy dressed up in a baby doll pretending he is only 5, but being actually 50 you should be able to date a port lover as well somehow via the internet ??? Maybe here is another idea for a dating portal? No fumbling around, just drinking. :D
