No, I hope to be unavailable for obvious reasons.
Ah yes, Tatort night I believe.

It's summer so they show only reruns.

I was just impressed I could remember this factoid.

I was equally impressed that you know this strange habit in our country of wasting our time watching this TV show on sunday evening. I still wonder why on earth you know Tatort. I wanted to ask you when we meet in November.

Gosh! Tatort! A hitherto repressed memory of my year-long sojourn in Germany. At least you didn't mention Didi

So here we are. The day before the day that Owen has been looking forward to.

I still have a chance of recovering my money if the Argies win, regardless of how. My wallet is saying Argentina, but my head is saying Germany as they have been by far the better team to watch.

Best of luck André, I hope you enjoy the game.

Thank you all. I have a bottle of Riesling ready in the fridge. I will either need it for celebrating the cup or consoling myself.

Rather careless football. Germany faffing with the ball in the middle of the grass. Is this England in disguise?

No. They almost scored twice.

The commentators seem to think it is a better game than we do.

Penalties would be fun (sorry André)

Whilst not watching, I rather wish the Argies would win.

The Berliners are literally screaming and weeping. Fireworks are going off everywhere. It's like May '45 round here.

The better team won - i.e. PaddyPower.com

Well done Germany, a deserved win.

The better side today won, was glad to see not go to penalties considering all the chances for both sides. Good watch.
