Felix Baumgartner

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

I've just watched this lunatic jump off a baloon from 128,000 feet up - wow!

I think he was attempting to sneak into Andy's port cellar from above. I can't imagine why else he would have wanted to do such a thing!

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Only this morning I invited him to my house to drink seven bottles of Real Vinicola 1983. I'm sure he could have thought of an easier way to avoid accepting :?

Was prepared to fend him off with a shotgun. Luckily winds blew him to the east of my barrel.

Otherwise, what a complete idiot  . I admire him for having the B***s to do this. I watched it live on the internet, WOW  is all i can say.

fun to watch...but seeing the whole set-up and "mission control"-type hype, i can't help but have a sneaking admiration for the jumps that Kittinger did seemingly with far less fuss and technology over 50 years ago!

And without wanting to sound too much of a grumpy old man....is the "jump from space" moniker a bit of a hyperbole?

The answer would appear to be "yes". But you are not being as grumpy as some. :QuotePedant:
