2012 Boat Race

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Settled down at 9:30 this evening to watch a recording of the boat race, expecting to get through perhaps a glass of port and be in bed by 10:30.

Boy! That was a bit more eventful than usual! 2.5 hours and a full bottle of port later I'm staggering upstairs to bed. If all races were like that there would be a lot more people interested in rowing!
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

It is unfortunate that Mr Oldfield still has his head attached to his neck.

Let's hope he doesn't inspire others.
