My falling standards

This thread is to report falling standards of members of :tpf:, or in their households.

I’ll start. SCP-DFF is a fan of the US version of The Biggest Loser, which we watch on Apple iTunes. Normal household rules are not to eat ice cream whilst these enormous people sweat. Today we failed that low standard.

Oh please. Yes, guilty as charged. But, I have an excuse. I'm exempt from all previous rules concerning The Biggest Loser. Julian failed to site that reason. Ask him.

Were you not the instigator of a rule not to criticise the grammar of those for whom English was not their first language? Is your wife's first language English?

Is it only me who thinks that starting a thread on a public forum with the primary objective of criticising your spouse is a bad idea?
