Raise a glass for SushiNorth's wedding

Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

Raise a glass for SushiNorth's wedding

Post by SushiNorth »

Raise a glass with me, 7:30pm ET this sunday. That should be about the time of the formal toasts. g-man will be in attendance to rep the forum, and I should return to my semi-actively-posting self, soon.

I guess that would be about 12.30am Monday 9th August UK time! Would you accept a glass raised at 7.30pm UK time as a reasonable compromise!

Hope you have a great day, and that 2010 turns out to be a great vintage.

7:30ET, or at your convenience, but you may want to wait until 8pm UK time to ensure we're good and married :)

Congratulations! I can do 7:30pm EDT on Sunday - but it will have to be with Croft 2004 LBV since that's all I have with me.

Thank you for the invitation, and I’m sorry not to be there. As what there is in Paris is Mz85” , I shall decant one tomorrow.

I will be late to the party as I'll be driving to Tacoma at about that time, but I'll make sure to have a glass of Port after dinner in your honor!

A glass of QdN08 will be raised here at around 8pm UK time to toast you and your new Mrs.

I will set an alarm so that I remember to raise a glass. Otherwise I will remember at about 11:39 Thursday morning and feel guilty.

Congratulations :660000:

Mid-sweetness at the start, drier at the end, with hints of several fruits: fig and damson I think, but lightly. Good length. It is not fantastic, but utterly drinkable fine vintage port.

A long and happy marriage! (The secret of which is dinner and dancing, every week. He should go on Tuesdays, she on Thursdays.)

There was nothing of sufficient quality available at the restaurant. Cross that one off the list!

Luckily I had a Ch85 open and was able to drink in your honor once we got home. Here's to many happy years! :993300:

We toasted with Qd Infantado 1995 at the ceremony and meal, then again with SW LBV 1995 (a bottle of which was provided to each table)
