Not Morrissey. I determined not to read this despite having once pledged my life to the man.LGTrotter wrote:Morrissey (the book), Whitney (the gig).
Good man. I should point out that I didn't have to go looking for this. It was sitting in the staff recommendations section in the new books bit in Waterstone's. I heard the author the other day on the radio (Start the Week last week or the week before I think) and I read a good review of it somewhere, the Guardian Review quite possibly.idj123 wrote:Bet Middler (concert) and am just popping out to WH Smith for biography research
Not Alexander McQueen. Isn't he dead? A new autobiography would be quite an effort.SCP-DFF wrote:Autobiography: Alexander McQueen?

Ah. Just saw the clue above about "one of her biggest hits". So not Bon Jovi then. Can I change my guess to Celine Dion. If this is correct, you have my deepest sympathies Julian.flash_uk wrote:Bon Jovi and David Mitchell

Julian had a great time at the Celine Dion concert! He said he loved watching me sing her songs!
Well done.

Re: One quiz at a time
So “One quiz at a time” has had two quizzes at a time. Now what?
Re: One quiz at a time
Has someone guessed Alan Johnson yet?
Re: One quiz at a time
I will have to try and win the biography question and thereby "unite the belts".jdaw1 wrote:So “One quiz at a time” has had two quizzes at a time. Now what?

No. Interesting guess though.flash_uk wrote:Viv Albertine
If Flash doesn't set his question someone else should take it off him.
Just checked. This book seems to have been published, or at least mainly reviewed, in May. The Telegraph called it 'dazzling'.

Exactly Glenn. Who knows what the answer means or what the question is? (Rhetorical), I bet it turns out to be Brian Sewell after all.Glenn E. wrote:42?

It isn't Brian Sewell. But it is somebody who is both his polar opposite, and rather like him
